It's All in Your Head

Episode 09 (notes)

In the 1700s Jeremy Bentham thought up The Panopticon; a prison that by its very design would keep prisoners well behaved. How? By building designing it in such a way that people would always feel like they were being watched.

Which begs the question, who would you be if no one was watching?

In this episode we talk about the power of knowing someone’s got their eye on you. Why it’s good (sometimes), why it’s bad (sometimes) and how to break free (when needed).
