I’m a fan of odd architecture and while on a walk in late August, was charmed by this chair only to find it replaced the following month by a more “modern” or “standard” model.
No more aged wood, no cinderblock, no odd structure. Just metal and plastic; dull and ordinary.
I’ve immortalized her beauty and honour her memory here with this sticker titled after the first thought I had when I saw her, “Is that a chair?”
May more oddity and curiosity find us in the modern sea of the mundane.
